today was one busy day! (: heh....
started off pretty early today, walked to the halls to catch the bus to brandon park, then got the necessary food n snacks. then rushed back, had my lunch, then met chai, jia, hanting n mabel to head to the city. they had breakfast cum lunch at Joe's Garage- some mega American Breakfast, sure was some huge portion! like super lots of proteins. then we headed to Essendon DFO. jia n hanting were supposed to get ski gear but they din end up getting anything ski related! hah! (: but anyway, it's cool! (: i got this pretty cheap skirt tt i can prob wear for clinicals... to be a little lady-like at least... n i cant really run in them... DARN! then got sth for paul... (: tried to find the dress for mavis but somehow, the sizes always dun fit... either it's nice n the sizes are toooo big or toooo small. or it's not even nice. *so sorry mavis!* i'll still keep on finding sth for you ok?? no worries! (:
then we headed to lygon for dinner, has italian pasta n pizza. we had Inge, jia n chai's ex JC classmate to join us for dinner too!! then we proceeded to Brunetti for cakes... really a nice WIDE range of cakes.. n i've alr fallen in love w the cake decor there.. so i'm alr all set to get mywedding cake from there!! it's pretty! (:
we had four little slices of different types of cakes.. (: one was this choc mud, one was this vanilla puff choc coated cake, one was strawberry cheesecake, the last was some custard tart... (: lovely... but all just a little too sinful n guilty! (:
then we sorta wanted to continue our dessert quest for sommore Roche ice cream down the street ,a pity it wasnt opened during this short period of winter...!!
BAH! so we sorta spent a LONG time discussing in the cold... n my poor lil toes died for a while... i resuscitated it when we finally went back to the car! (: heh!!!
then we headed to st kilda's to have a look at the night scenery... it's prettty... we sorta cruised ard the area there, spotted some nice lil twinkling lights in the far distance that formed a dome shaped so chai decided to drive there to have a look.. it was some ferry terminal place... then we drove ard the pretty estates there... real high-ended apartments.. i'm SO gonna live there.... buy an apartment there or sth... it just looks out into the ocean.... n the pubs/ cafes overlooking the ocean... a beautiful sight indeed! then we spent a while star gazing, n hanting showed me the Southern Cross.... prettty! never been star gazing for so long even since daddy last set up the telescope at home. (:
then this noisy bunch of teenager girls came along n spoilt the silence... n they were like peeing in the bushes... gross diao! (: mauahhahaa!!!
it was a fun day indeed.

i stood by the edge of the ocean today.
