muaahhaa!!! i had my first clinical site visit today at Boxhill Hospital. Caz drove us down after the lecture for mucles and all.. cool! we got there early.. and were introduced to this intern who i tot was q responsible. he brought us to this patient whom he tot was talkative and would provide us w the info we needed.! it was fun cos wad we learned during clinical skills class like communication w patients and all.. and how to take a medical history, we all used that and it was really q simple. cos we sorta got a chance to practise it in class. so yea.. wadever info we needed were at the back of our heads and we just needed to get them.. (: it really was fun interviewing this old lady... (: caz and i were put into the same group.. the doctor only gave us one patient to interview cos the others were slightly too old and had dementia... bah! but anyway, sure was exciting to hear the lil old lady tell us her story.
(: cool stuff.! cant wait for the next GP visit and our rural placements in july!
