man!! the past few days have been hectic... though not a lot of lesson but its perhaps the weather that drives all of us tired...!!! and oh man... i sure have learned lots from these classes. not the content of it but how to survive a lesson in au.!! hahaa.. i mean my classmates are younger than me like 17/ 18 years old and they talk loads of rubbish in tutorials... they just wanna have a chance to be heard and to say sth dumb. so yea... i've learnt the trick and did wad tghe romans do... so i just splat out anything tt comes to mind... seriously we're gonna be graded for participation and if i dun say a thing i aint gonna score... so at least saying sth dumb or even sth would help loads! yea... so tt's how i survived!! also, i've managed to get my printer working... printed my first lecture notes.. and of course i hunted ofr the most cost saving paper... like less than AUD$5 for a stack of 500 sheets... yea.. way to go!!
on SAT, i walked to the halls early in the morning to catch the free transport to Brandon Park.. which consists of grocery shops like K Mart, Aldi and coles... was a great shopping experience w Thwin cos he's really sucha a streetsmart guy... we shared like the beef which we bought 2 kg in all and heaps of meat to last us for centuries... and we found cheaper food at Aldi... so its great.. saving in small portions is good!! then after getting the driver to drop us off at SEF, we split the food portions... our 5 kg of potatoes and all.. (: then i hopped onto chai's car and i navigated the way to Essendon which was near the Tullamarine Freeway.. (: its so cool cos it's a really long journey and it was nearing the airport... (: so we finally reached... (: the DFO(direct Factory Outlet). got a nike wimming costume for $15. (: WOOTS! so i can exercise now!!
today, chai, iris, paul and me headed to City Life for church early in the morning... was a great service! (: on the way to glen, we popped by this fruit plantation selling cheap fruits... like $0.40 per kg for watermelons and $1 for a bag of potatoes..!! oh my!!!..... and we tot we could even pick our own fruits off the plantations.. the nectarines and peaches were in abundance..!!! *: like lying all over the ground! (: we went into their store to see wad other great discounts they had.. got some juicy pears!! (: then we went back to pick up jia... (: before heading to the city.. (: we had Vietnamese beef noodles.!! delicious!! then we walked ard.. and i met MGS junior Rachel Lim outside trampoline.. the ice cream store... so cool!!! then we walked ard somemore to waste some time... and we spotted 4 ppl scaling down to wall in the mall... how cool is tt? they were doing some stunts and patterns and bouncing off the walls.. and i really DO mean it! then we headed to RMIT where the Singapore Association of Melbourne (a collaboration of Melb uni, RMIT and Monash uni students) for free buffet s'porean dinner!! we had some really good spicy food!! (: and played some games which my team won... so we got a $100 safeway voucher!! yay!! then i met more frens... liek frens i haven seen for ages. and i din know they were in melb!!! like esther and serene from MGS strings.. but they play the flute. they were in melb uni doing arts final year alr!!! WAH!!!
we left the place pretty happy and filled... cos they even had dessert for us... cheng tng and red bean.. (: chai drove us home.. (: was a fun filled day in deed!
