charmie's simple life

muahahaa!! wonderful day! had the Dean's welcome in the morning.. pretty dull lecture and all... then headed to the campus centre for some pizza lunch... and to the carnival again cos Armaan and Tae wanted to sign up for some clubs... and i got more sausages for free.. and cup noodles to add to my small supply at home!
then we headed back to rest while chai and jia went to collect the car... (: closer to 4pm, we went over to the halls for some study groups sign-up sessions.,. which was pretty short.. so we decided to head over to Daniel's room to look ard. Apparently he's got loads of furniture in his room... (: which made it pretty cosy.. but mua still loves her room the most!! after hanging ard w nothing to do, we decided to play a game of pool.. (: til the International Food Festival started...
thinking being 15 mins early was enuff... the queue was alr all the way stretching to the other end of the walkway starting from the Mess Hall. (: gulp.. so we waited and waited and finally got our turn!!! whoooops!!! HEAPS of FOOD!
after chomping down everything... there was finally the much awaited Lunar Park Outing organised by Monash Residential! (: we queued for a shuttle bus tt brought us all the way there... sure was a fun trip chatting w this Aussie from Tasmania... called Esther! she's doing some Neuroscience in her second year.. and told me abt her community service trips to Belgium and Vietnam!! cool!! then after alighting.. we met more of Kai Wen's friends all form the halls... Tessy, Georgie and Debbie who're all Aussies, and Emily who's fm malaysia doing Law, and Freddie from Greece.. cool!! we walked ard the night markets and saw several cool and interesting street performances. we waited til 9pm before the Lunar Park gates opened and went straight for the rides.. i must say... i sat almost every ride!! (:
